Green status does not always mean a project is healthy. Sometimes it only means the real issues have not surfaced yet.
The danger is simple. Executives see green, assume confidence, and stop asking the harder questions.
But a project can be green on the report and still be blocked by unclear decisions, weak readiness, hidden dependencies, or work that is quietly slipping.
Ask for the evidence behind the status
Don’t just ask, “Is the project green?” Ask, “What evidence proves we are still on track?” That one question can expose the risk before the status turns red.
